What social media tools do you use? #sweetspot

So last week on the social media sweet spot - a weekly roundup of all things association social media related - Kiki L'Italien asked us what were some of the tools we use to monitor our social media accounts. Below is my video.

You'll notice in my video I decided to focus on some of the lesser known tools in my arsenal. I didn't want to leave anything out so I figured I would provide a list of all the random things I use to keep myself organized (with links so you can be cool like me, too!). I'm not going to go into detail on most of the actual social media platforms (Facebook, YouTube, Twitter, LinkedIn, Skype, Google Mail/Buzz/Reader/Alerts/Chat/The Entire Universe, etc.) because that would be redundant.

TweetDeck - No big surprise here. I use TweetDeck as my go-to desktop Twitter client. I can track my personal and work accounts and sort my friends into lists.

Flickr - Don't really know what else can be said about Flickr, but I will highly recommend you download Cooliris as your preferred picture viewing app.

HootSuite - I like HootSuite because I can manage multiple Twitter accounts (depending on the time of year I have at least three to monitor). I can schedule tweets to go out at any time of day, and they have a great set of analytics so you can track your tweets as well. With the addition of their iPhone app, they're kicking some ass right now.

Yammer - Inter-office message system similar to AIM. A bulk of our office works from home at some point in the week. This is an easier way to keep in touch besides having to call or clutter up my e-mail inbox every two minutes with updates. I also really like their Firefox plugin - very unobtrusive.

Speaking of Firefox plugins, I also recommend the Echofon Twitter add-on. You can manage multiple accounts and it keeps your desktop from getting super cluttered.

Xobni - Really cool Outlook add-on. It Syncs your contacts with their various social media accounts (Skype, Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn) and also pulls a pic if they have one posted anywhere online so you can put a pretty face to the person that's constantly trying to upsell you on your current long distance plan :)

Skype - Skype keeps me connected with my family in different cities as well as helps me network and work with some of my freelancing clients. I'm definitely more of a face-to-face fan than a phone person so I'm a big fan.

Nomee - Nomee is your social media setup on steroids. They sync up all of your accounts from the various corners of the Web and put them all in a nice desktop app. Got a person you really like to follow on Twitter and want to connect in more places (Facebook, Picasa, Flickr, LinkedIn, etc. etc. ad nauseum)? Nomee can do that. . .it's awesome.

Also, not necessarily social media but I also use Dropbox a lot. If you work from multiple computers on multiple networks, Dropbox is for you. . .trust me.

I also use TeuxDeux to help keep my freelancing schedule organized. Once they get their Adobe Air and iPhone app up and running I'll be one happy camper.

Speaking of iPhone - I use Tweetie 2 as my Twitter app. It's got a nice clean look and is easy to manage multiple accounts.

What are you using? Anything I use that you think I should abandon for something else?

Have you tried the Tweetdeck app for the iPhone? It will sync your read/unread stuff with the desktop version. Not bad--big improvement over Twidroid (which is what I was using on my G1).
